Dress Code

Shoes are needed by first week in April 2025.

Girls

  • Any color/pattern/style leotard

  • Pink, Tan, or Black tights

  • Pink leather full-sole ballet flats

  • Pink leather or canvas split-sole ballet flats

    • Pointe shoes for those cleared to train 

  • Hair slicked back into clean bun

  • Wrapped or pull-on skirt may be worn if desired

Boys

  • Black tights

  • Any color plain shirt

    • May have a small logo

  • Black canvas split-sole ballet flats

Girls

  • Any color leotard

  • Tank top or shirt

  • Shorts, joggers or leggings

    • Must be able to be barefoot 

    • Level V need skin-tone or pancaked flats

  • Hair neatly up and out of face

Boys

  • Any color shirt

  • Long pants, tight around the ankle; ie Joggers

    • Must be able to be barefoot

  • Tan jazz shoes required for class

  • Level I-V requires Black Oxford style tap shoes

  • Level IV & V also requires Black 2.5 inch Heel style tap shoes

Girls

  • Any color leotard, dance dress

  • Pink, Tan, or Black dance tights

    • There is a difference between everyday fashion tights and dance tights.

  • Hair neatly pulled up and off the face

  • Pink full-sole leather Ballet shoe

  • Black “Mary Jane” Tap shoes

Boys

  • Any color shirt

  • Shorts or pants that are tight around the ankle (ie: joggers)

  • Black thin socks

  • Black full-sole leather Ballet shoes

  • Black “Oxford” Tap shoes

Pre-School Ballet & Kindergarten Ballet

Musical Theater

  • Rehearsal attire—something you can move/dance in

    • Leo and tights

    • Shorts/ Leggings and Shirt

    • Hair must be neat and out of face

    • Jazz shoes

    • Ked’s LIKE athletic shoes ( must be clean and not worn for everyday use)

    • Girls

      • Character Heels- black or tan

    • Boys

      • Black or Wingtip dress shoes ( must be clean and not worn for everyday use)

What You Can Wear

  • Warm-ups- for the first 15 min of class

    • Long shirts

    • Sweat pants

    • Leg warmers

    • Garbage bag pants or shorts

  • Stud earrings only

  • Fitbit/Apple Watch 

    • For exercise monitoring only

    • Must be removed for any partnering 

  • Warm-ups after the first 15 min

    • Unless cleared by instructor

  • Dangle or hoop earrings

  • Bracelets

  • Watches

  • Rings

  • Scrunchies on the wrist

  • Shorts without tights

  • Inappropriate logos on clothing

  • Hats of any sort
